The Interfaith Council of Nelson-Tasman (IFCNT)
IFCNT is a voluntary non-profit association of persons from diverse beliefs, religious traditions, faiths, and those who do not subscribe to any Religion, faith and belief.
Established in July 2017, it is run by a Committee of 7 volunteers from various faith traditions who meet regularly.
Wherever possible Committee members have an open door meeting, and are acting with consultation and on on behalf of and supported by their respective faith's leadership and
To cultivate peace, unity and compassion through Soul to Soul Gatherings, through collaboration and action for the greater good of our community.
In the inherent worth and dignity of every person. That justice, equity and compassion should guide human relationships.
We are compelled to be respectful of all faiths and beliefs, and be respectful of those who do not subscribe to any faith and belief.
That working together we can make a difference to the well-being of our community.
